SYNOPSIS
In the near future, the Earth’s surface is so polluted that life can only thrive in hermetically sealed glass bunkers, so called Biospheres. Here the remaining humans spend the rest of their lives. Max (Maximilian Klas) is an Imagonaut in Biosphere 17, who works as a beta-tester for the Institute for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage, which uses virtual landscapes to reconstruct and preserve the eras prior to the catastrophic outbreak. Doctor L (Birgit Stauber), the Institute’s director, is concerned about Max´s increasing social isolation. She fears he might lose touch with reality due to his frequent missions to virtual worlds.
